House rules

A short list โ€” meant to keep every apartment clean, quiet, and welcoming for the next guest. By booking with us you agree to follow them.

Check-in & check-out

  • Check-in: from 4:00 PM. Earlier arrival possible if the apartment is free โ€” just ask Judith.
  • Check-out: by 11:00 AM. Late check-out can sometimes be arranged for a small fee โ€” please ask in advance.
  • Check-in details (full address + entry instructions) are sent by email 24 hours before arrival.

Quiet hours

11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Most of the buildings have neighbours โ€” please keep music low and avoid loud parties. Repeated noise complaints may end your stay early.

No smoking, vaping or open flames

All apartments are strictly non-smoking, including balconies. Candles, incense, and any open flame are not allowed. A cleaning fee of ยฃ150 applies if the apartment smells of smoke at check-out.

Pets

Pets are not allowed in any apartment unless explicitly agreed with Judith in writing before your stay. Assistance animals are welcome โ€” just let her know in advance.

Guests & visitors

Only guests listed at booking may stay overnight. Day visitors are fine. The maximum guest count for each apartment is shown on its listing page and must not be exceeded.

Events

No parties, weddings, photo shoots, or commercial events. The apartments are for residential stays only.

Security deposit

A refundable security deposit of ยฃ100 is held for each apartment for the duration of your stay. It is returned within 24 hours of check-out, once the apartment has been checked.

Damage & wear

Accidents happen โ€” if you break something, please tell Judith straight away. Minor wear isn't a problem; serious damage may be charged to the card on file.

Kosher & kosher-style apartments

Kosher Family Home (Kosher Gib Trafalgar) is a fully kosher apartment โ€” a strictly kosher kitchen with separate utensils, pots, pans and sinks for meat and milk, and kosher ovens. Please keep meat and milk separate and don't bring in non-kosher food or cookware, so it stays usable for everyone.

Best Location (2-Bed) is kosher-style โ€” a manual (non-electronic) entrance for Shabbat, a hot plate and urn available, and a short walk to the synagogues and Jewish area. It is not a strictly kosher kitchen.

Treat the apartment like you would a friend's home โ€” that's honestly the whole rule. Anything you're not sure about, just ask.
